Bible Studies
Friday Morning Bible Study:
Meets every Friday morning at 7am at Perkins. The purpose of the group is to carry onan ongoing and in-depth study of the Bible by concentrationg on one book at a time, and moving at whatever pace is needed. Everyone is provided the opportunity to deepen his/her understanding and knowledge of the Bible. Theere are currently 22 active members. In order to allow for the participation of all members, the group desires to remain small but would be happy to assist in the formation of a similar group.
Women of Today Bible Study:
Meets the first Thursday of each month at 9:30 am in the Fireside Room. The purpose of the group is to study the Bible together, support each other in prayer, and enjoy good Christian fellowship. There are currently 18 active members. This group does not meet in July and August. In order to allow for the participation of all members, the group desires to remain small but would be happy to assist in the formation of a similar group.
Women’s Friday Morning Bible Study:
Meets every Friday morning at 9:30 am in the Fireside Room. The purpose of the group is to grow in faith and relationship with God and each other by studying God’s words and sharing personal thoughts, questions and experiences. The group is committed to confidentiality with one another and also supports each other in prayer.
Men’s Sunday Morning Bible Study:
Meets every Sunday morning at 8 am in the Fireside room. This group reads the Bible together, shares their thoughts about the passages in order to provoke deeper insight and understanding into God’s word. Initially the group was established as a beginner’s Bible study, now many people currently participating do have a solid basis of Biblical understanding. The group is open and desires to have people join that are just beginning their Bible journey. All men are invited to join the 4-8 active members.
Pastor Al’s Bible Study:
Meets every Monday at 9:30 am in the Fireside room. The purpose of the group is to spend time reading and studying portions of the Scriptures as well as entering into conversations about the books and chapters of the Bible. Attention is given to the historical circumstances surrounding the writings and how the passages relate to the whole of the Scripture. This group does not meet during the summer, and all are welcome to join the 6-8 active members.
