Welcome to the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Youth Ministries!
We are passionate about introducing students to Jesus Christ. A Jesus that is perfect and powerful. A Jesus that forgives and heals. A Jesus that is the very definition of the word love. The youth ministries here are really focused on one thing…introducing students to Jesus and helping them grow into faithful disciples. We strive to have everything we do match up with that purpose…and along the way we have a pretty good time! We don’t know where you are in your faith journey, but wherever you are, there is a spot for you here at OSLC.
DISCIPLESHIP is a full-time calling – NOT a part-time hobby! One way we can live that out is by looking every day for ways we can serve others. I found a couple of ideas from 5th Bridge of Northfield describing ways to put your faith into action.
First of all, February, February 13–19, 2012, is National Random Acts of Kindness Week. The 7 Days of Kindness lists a challenge for each day of the week for us to put a smile on someone else’s face. Of course, just like our faith isn’t part-time, the ideas here don’t need to be limited to any particular week or day. Also available is list of 100 ideas you can use to serve and help others in your community. Remember – every day, all day, belongs to the Lord.
