Confirmation Camp
CONFIRMATION CAMP 2012 dates are set and REGISTRATION is open.
Click on the Registration link above to download or print the registration form. Camp is scheduled for June 3-June 8, 2012. All registrations are accepted on a first-come basis, but a deposit of $50 is required. Because of space limitations we can not guarantee a spot without the deposit. If that is a financial hardship, please talk to Brad directly.
Confirmation students are required to attend Confirmation Camp at least once during their Confirmation years. Most students choose to go again once they’ve dared give it a try.
We reserve the group camps at Interstate Park in Taylor’s Falls Minnesota – getting some rain is normal, but it always seems to work out pretty well.
During camp, students are divided into teams with leaders that help them work through the various lessons and themes of the camp experience. Students also take a canoe trip, spend a day at Wild Mountain water park, do crafts and participate in a variety of faith-building and team-building experiences.
Confirmation Camp 2010 had the theme “I’m Worth It.” We spent the week learning about how God sees us, and always reaches out to us. Since God also sees our friends and neighbors this way we looked at how we should treat those around us.
