Other Events
In addition to our regularly scheduled meetings, other events are planned throughout the year. These vary every year but generally include ski trips for both age groups. Last summer we camped for a couple of nights while attending a Christian music festival. Lock-ins and other activities are planned throughout the year.
As events are scheduled, they will be included on the Church calendar, and highlighted on this page.

Compassion’s One Meal – One Day. Skip a meal on the 9th and donate what you would have spent to help some of those who have nothing. Print out a POSTER and display it for others to see. Even better, print up some INFO CARDS and give them to your friends. Get others involved – YOU can make a difference.

We had a good number of students participate in this activity and were able to raise significant funds to help out those in need through Compassion. While this date has passed, I still encourage more to participate. Pick a meal to skip and allow yourself to feel some minor hunger for a while. Then donate the money you would have spent for the meal to help someone else. Donate directly to Compassion, donate to the local food shelf, or even cook a meal and deliver it to a neighbor who is struggling. You decide where you can make a difference.
