Children, Youth & Family
At Our Savior's Lutheran Church, we are passionate about connecting students with Jesus Christ in a life-changing way. We believe in introducing young people to a Jesus who is perfect, powerful, forgiving, and healing—a true embodiment of love. Our youth ministries are dedicated to helping students not only meet Jesus but grow into faithful, committed disciples. Everything we do is centered on this mission, and we make sure that every step of the journey is engaging, meaningful, and fun. No matter where you are on your faith journey, you have a place here at OSLC’s youth ministry to learn, connect, and grow with others.

Stepping Stones
When your child was baptized you made promises as a family and we made promises as a congregation of faith. Those promises included ways to support and pray for your child and your family. The Stepping Stones Ministry at Our Savior’s is our fulfillment to those promises. We provide learning and faith development for the many stages of your child’s life. Each Stepping Stone engages your child in their growth and development and provides resources for your family of faith.

Wednesday School
(Pre-K – 5th Grade)
Wednesday evenings will start with a meal (5:00-6:00 p.m.) and worship (6:00 p.m.) After worship, students will gather in classrooms (6:40-7:30) with friends and teachers to learn more about the Bible story they heard in worship. Third-fifth graders will explore their Spark Bibles, and activities will include games, crafts, skits, singing, experiments, service, and fun as students learn about themselves and God’s love for them.
Confirmation
(Grades 6th-8th)
Our Savior's Confirmation program is a three-year journey for students in grades 6-8, blending large-group activities with small-group discussions. Each year covers different topics, with students attending "Wednesday Worship" and exploring Scripture, the Old and New Testaments, and the Catechism in small groups. Some nights focus on service events or fellowship, offering chances to build connections and make a positive impact in the community. Students celebrate their Confirmation in May of 8th grade.
