care
Pastoral Care at Our Saviors includes baptisms, weddings, funerals, hospital visits, prayers, devotions, and counseling. In times of need and in times of celebration, please contact one of the pastors below or call the church office at 507-331-2276 or email info@oursaviorsfbo.org.
baptism
In Holy Baptism, our gracious heavenly Father frees us from sin and death by joining us to the death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. By the waters of baptism, we are reborn children of God. Baptisms are performed at any service at Our Savior’s. We will check the calendar to make sure there are no conflicts. To schedule a baptism, call or e-mail the church office using the information on our contact page.
counseling
If you are in need of counseling, call or e-mail the church office using the information on our contact page. Then someone will call to schedule an appointment or to give a referral.
hospital visits
If you would like a pastoral visit while hospitalized or at home, call or e-mail the church office using the information on our contact page.
funerals
Funerals can be arranged by calling or e-mailing the church office using the information on our contact page.
Each year in honor of All Saints Day, a Service of Remembrance is held. We remember all the Our Savior’s members who have died during the past year as well as other loved ones.
weddings
Our Savior’s would be delighted to assist you in preparation for one of the most important days of your life! May God bless and guide you as you prepare for your marriage. Please call or e-mail the church office using the information on our contact page if you have any questions.
Our Savior’s believes that marriage is a lifelong relationship based on the promise of faithfulness. We believe that marriage should be rooted in steadfast love of God and that God’s faithfulness and self-giving love are the models of the relationship in a marriage. We believe that God, along with the church, desires that marriage be characterized by faithfulness, joy, love, growth and fulfillment.
schedule a wedding
To schedule a wedding, call or e-mail the church office using the information on our contact page. Wedding times and dates are subject to approval from a pastor and church availability.
wedding coordinator
Once your date and time have been confirmed with the church office, a wedding coordinator will contact you. Your wedding coordinator will be available to answer detailed questions regarding your wedding service. She will also direct the wedding rehearsal and assist you the day of the wedding. The rehearsal date and time must be confirmed with the wedding coordinator.
marriage preparation workshops
If a pastor from Our Savior’s will be performing your
wedding ceremony, they will want to meet with you several times for pre-marital
counseling. The details of these meetings will be figured out between the couple and
the pastor. Please contact our office if you need more information about scheduling a
